Hi speaking of equipment. I use the heavy elastic band. I feel like it is getting me more flexible. But I don't feel like resistance is enough. Should I use harder resistance. Do you have anything like that?

I think you can injure yourself if the resistance is too strong. Because you are sort of using the same resistance to stretch. I dont' know if the band exercises are for strength, may be they are mostly for stretching.

By the way, am I the only one whose shoulders feel like getting a work out after holding the bands in place?

Dear Olympus,
We have a number of extra-heavy resistance bands. How ever before you order those, try the following.
-Fold the resistance band that you have in half, this will increase the resistance.
Slow down your movement
Try to do only half the movement in the extended length

Let us know if this helps

What do you mean with
"Try to do only half the movement in the extended length"
?

Do you mean
- start from the extended position and do the exercise half because you can't go al the way (when the band is folded up)
?

That's what I'm doin know. Seems like it's workin. What do you think? it's not bad that I'm workin' the extended lenght without the normal range? Or perhaps that's the idear?

Speed,

In my oppinion perform the extended length movement in the "stretchy" part of extended length is totally fine. Just remmember that it's not stretching, just because it is the extended length.

Moderator, are you referring to bands heavier than the five commonly available on he site? If so, are they up here somewhere on the site?

Extra-heavy is part of the 5 available bands.
For a while tubes will be used, stead of bands.
There are stronger bands than those five. They are not in the products because no one really needs that much resistance for extended length conditioning.

I should finally be getting my package this afternoon, and after all the drama, you write that ES will be using -tubes- "for a while"! That makes it sound ES prefers the bands, but they're not available right now. What if -I- prefer the bands?
