It seems like my round house kicks I do in tmuay thai kick boxing arent getting any more height to them when I kick.Ive been busting my ass with splits dvd and I have a versaflex and I'm not getting anymore height to my kicks.also on the versaflex ive hit a wall and cant go anymore in streching further.Ive been dong this a year now and yeah Ive improved since ive started but after a year I would of thought my high kick and round house kicks would be getting higher and there stuck now.any ideas.

Hi Nunzio
You mention that you have been stretching a lot but has this included any strenth exercises? It maybe that your legs are now more flexable but lack the strength to kick up high. Maybe leave the isometric exersises for a few weeks or a month and replace them with weights such as squats and deadlifts and maybe do some hip flex and abduc exercises. then add in the isometric exersises on top. This should have you seeing results in a few months.
However if any of this counteracts any of pauls instructions please feel free to ignore me :)
Rick.
