Something I am wondering about.
I did the V-Up straddle for a while. I like it. Sometimes when I do the second part I go forward with one arm, just like in the side split sequence. Can I come up and hold the first part sideways too. I mean turning my body to one side.
Does it do anything differently, compared to just facing forward?
Thanks.

P.S. The V-Up straddle uses the same principle as the reciprocal front line stretch, right?

I don't see the point of turning side ways, when you do the V-up straddle.
But I would recommend that you, press on the legs in the first position. This makes the muscles work harder.

The priciple is most likely the same, but muscles being stretched are different. It's a great hip strengthening exercise as well.
Hey listen if it works sideways for you, why not. Probably will get some oblique muscles in there.

It does strengthen the hips, I must give you that.

I do it fast and I don't feel the stretch. If I hold the tension and than stretch for a while in one position, I feel the stretch.
