Hi to all. Any specific things to keep in mind with kids? I blend it all into the martial arts but what things do you suggest I know for short/long term goals, training tips, things to be cautious about, etc. Thanks, blessings. PS I'm learning how to work this area of the thread so it may take me time to figure it all out.

Dynamic stretches should be the prefered way to make kids flexible and i belive it easier for kids to hold focus on that type of stretching, rather than relaxing and isometric stretches that take some degree of body control.

I purchased the kicking series from here. You think that is good to teach kids who've just come into my school? Also, are the any kind of transitions I should use with students who've been with me longer from shotokan to the info in the videos? Thanks for the help. Blessings.

I dont have the kicking series, but im sure you can find some usefull material in the series for the new students. I belive student come to ur school with different degree of flexibility and strength, so you have exercises for every level.
What age are the kids you teach?
