In the elastic steel method, can I start the extended length conditioning if I have reached 50-60 reps on all of the strength and conditioning exercises or do I have to reach 100 reps before I move up? I would continue doing the exercises as a warm-up before extended length conditioning, just not as the main workout.

I guess the more the better.
I really believe that going slow will allow you to get further.
50 and 100 is a difference, but both are in the endurance range.
I vote for max.

I have to agree.
I found that more reps prepare your body better than less reps.

Be careful with ELC. There you have to have enough resistance to use the muscles you need to use. At the same time you must be careful not to over stretch or over power with the resistance band.
